Our Impact

PEOPLE & THE PLANET ARE AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING WE DO

Through our events and media site, we want to be a catalyst for change and a platform for good, by connecting the brand licensing industry with the networks and knowledge they need to embed sustainability into everything they do.

We don’t just talk the talk – our aim at the Global Licensing Group is to ourselves become an even more sustainable, positive impact business and here are some of the initiatives helping to get us there.

Charities

Charities

We partner with a variety of charities local to each of our events. We work with those charities to provide meaningful donations after the shows such as; leftover packed food to homeless shelters, toys and games to orphanages, furniture to foster homes, flooring and signage to animal farms for shelter and much more.

Some of those charities include: Delivering GoodThe LightFundWomen in Toys, Zions Safe Haven for Children and Products of Change.

Students

Students

Each year, we invite local students to our events to inspire and educate them about future career opportunities within licensing.

We work closely with The Diversity Org who educate low-income students on how to obtain corporate and high-income careers. They attend our events with large groups of local students to educate them about our industry and run professional development workshops. They also help students obtain internships to help companies acquire diverse and qualified interns.

Better Stands Initiative

Better Stands Initiative

The Better Stands program is aimed to unite and encourage exhibitors, along with their appointed contractors to move away from disposable, single-use stands at events, in favor of reusable or recyclable structures.

We expect all exhibitors to be a minimum of bronze by 2025, however we actively work with everyone to move as many towards to gold status as possible.

Education

Education

Through free seminars, drop-in clinics and innovative product displays, we aim to inspire all exhibitors, attendees, subscribers and advertisers to make demonstrable progress in their sustainability journey.

We partner with Products of Change to help guide and connect our audience, helping to drive our industry forward and reduce our overall environmental impact together.

Sustainability Fundamentals

Informa's Sustainability Fundamentals

Each year we complete Informa's sustainability fundamental framework which is a set of guiding principles to help all events: inspire sustainable development to their industries, run environmentally and socially responsible events.

We're proud to consistently score 16/16 on shows and continue to push the boundaries each year.

Diversity, Equality & Inclusion

Diversity, Equality & Inclusion
