HOW IT WORKS:
Interested applicants will complete an application via the contest website, at www.thegloballicensinggroup.com/lp/licensing-week-virtual/pitch-brands.html. Submission does not guarantee that the applicant will advance to the next round. Applicants may submit as many separate and distinct entries as they may choose. More than one person may combine to submit a single entry as a group.
All submissions must be for a product that is both demonstrable in nature and the subject of an issued U.S. patent or a pending U.S. patent application. The patent registration number or patent application number (as applicable) must be provided to InventHelp during the application process. The applicant must have at least one working production item or working prototype that can be used in demonstrations. The deadline for submitting entries is JUNE 5, 2020.
All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experts. Up to ten submissions will be selected to advance to the “Pitch” round. The ten applicants whose submissions are selected to advance to the “Pitch” round will have an opportunity to showcase their invention submission video to a panel of product experts and a live audience during Licensing Week Virtual on June 18, 2020 through the online platform. Additional details will be provided to all applicants selected.
During the “Pitch” round, the selected inventor submission videos will be played and product experts will provide feedback to applicants on their inventions and will be judged based on the set criteria. One of the ten applicants in the “Pitch” round will be selected to receive a 1:1 consultation package (the “Grand Prize”). Each participant will be judged and scored based the following criteria: uniqueness of the product, brandability of the product, and execution of the pitch. The decision of the panel will be final and non-appealable.
